Lonely Saturday

Went to the city today for my RSA course. I didn't get any breakfast in me because (as usual) I snooze my alarm for another 15 mins..

Half way through the class, my tummy started to make this weird loud grumbling sounds. And, when I saw LOUD.. it means, it was loud enough to make the two girls in front of me to turn back and give me an 'excuse me' stare. It didn't help when the room is small and in complete silence. So as soon as the instructor says: Break Time!.. I rushed out of the building, walked under drizzles of rain drops, towards the nearest Starbucks.

Thinking, "I need something big and really filling!" So, I got a venti sized Triple shot Cap, along with a big slice of New York Cheesecake.

I murdered that cheesecake like my life depended on it. And, let me tell you, it was not a good thing to do when you were going to be in a small room for another 3 hours. I felt sick to my gut! It was so rich!!

But all good eventually..

The seminar finished early so I went and did a little bit of shopping in the city. Love shopping on my own. I actually feel more relax when I'm shopping alone because I normally feel bad when my friend or my boyfriend waits for me while I'm trying on clothes.

Check out the cute mud yellow tee I got from Dotti. I bought a really cute maroon denim from Dotti as well but I can't be bothered to import that photo :)

The black skirt and the flowery jumpsuit is from a store called Internet clothing (if i'm not mistaken) .. It's really cheap and ooper cute!

Well.. the rest of the day was just lazing around, putting on nail polish and watching YouTube vids..

It was pretty boring after that....

Hope tomorrow will be better <3

Cheers!

New Blog

A new blog to kick start my new life in Sydney. As to why I am blogging again?

Let's just say I want to have a fresh start. Getting a new job and living in Sydney is great. This journey is off to a wonderful start.

However .. As I learn to adapt to this new lifestyle of doing everything myself alone (since most of my friends are in Canberra and Melbourne)..I began to realize how little I actually interact and communicate with other people now. I pretty much run my life like a train schedule. I wake up, freshen up, breakfast, train, work, lunch, work, train, home, gym, dinner, shower then sleep. And the next day, it is the same routine again.

It is a complete loss of human interaction!!

So, I want this blog to act as a medium of expression between me and whoever that is willing to read and hopefully.. have a conversation or two, with me.

but, don't get me wrong. I'm not some crazy woman or whatever. I'm not going to just talk to some random stranger that I don't know for no apparent reason.

I do have friends and I will make more friends as I go on. But at the mean time, this blog will be my friend.

Anyway, back to my life here..

I have yet to find a sense of belonging in Sydney. As much as I want to learn to love this beautiful city, I really miss Canberra. Sydney is not as clean as Canberra. Everybody that I've met here, have said to me Canberra is so boring. My reply to that is always : "Nope.. Not really.." I like Canberra.

First of.. the night clubs are way cheaper than Sydney. That's for sure. People are friendlier in Canberra. And, because it is very quiet most of the time in Canberra, whenever there's an event happening, we are very excited about it and make use of every single minute of it. We appreciate it more compared to people in the city.

People in the city may find it boring and lame because big events are always happening in the city. They stop finding the fun in it anymore.

Having said all that.. Sydney is not that at all. It has its positive side.. I just have to learn to love it.

Well.. I don't have much to say anymore. It's going to be a long weekend! Hooray!
Get to rest, Gym and maybe do a little bit of shopping..

Until next time...

See ya...
